Pension Marousso is situated close to the centre of the medieval village of Chora, the capital of Amorgos island. Chora is found at an altitude of 400 meters above the sea, hidden behind the mountains and surrounded by windmills. It’s dominated by a 13th-century Venetian castle; the historic rock with a height of 210 feet has had the church of Kera Leousa (Lady of Mercy) built into it for more than fifteen centuries. Chora is in the centre of Amorgos, therefore it easy to reach the various destinations on the island. The beaches nearest to the village are known for their clear waters, the best being Agia Anna and Kambi.

When you come out from the ship, turn left and follow the port for about 400 m and then turn right towards Chora. When you reach Chora, turn right in the roundabout. Our accommodation is after about 250 m on the left side above the little church.

Aegiali port – Pension Marousso
When you come out from the ship drive straight until you come to the T-intersection, turn right towards Chora and Katapola. Follow the road until you reach Chora, turn left in the roundabout. Our accommodation is after about 250 m on the left side above the little church.
